HALLOWED WATERS YOUTH ACADEMY

( My amazing young wunderkind client this summer who had me mesmerized by his 11 year old skills. His casting was impeccable, tight loops, an assortment of them in his arsenal- reach casts, puddle casts-roll-casts, please this cool young dude could catch trout!)

It is so important to feature and promote our youth in fishing. The amount of our precious young ones getting into the outdoors with their moms and dads, grandparents and friends is so super awesome to see! And the passion they have for fishing and nature is at the highest level and gives us so much hope they will protect the planet ones us greedy, tainted old folks get out of their way! 🙂

( a stunning Michigan ground-zero wild brown from a nearby spring creek where I love to teach youth on all the magic things of nature. In addition to the fish, here we pick wild berries, see birds, mayflies and animals while teaching them the small things that matter: keeping wilds wet when photographing them and the proper release techniques are so important)

In our Hallowed Waters we have a “Youth Academy ” column to promote the youth and give them the support and recognition they need, especially on cybermedia where they spend a good amount of time.
